Shipping policy

Monthly boxes ship the week of the 20th each month. Please pay attention to the box you're ordering! All of our boxes are pre-orders. If you're ordering in January, then it's our February box on sale! These boxes will ship the week of February 20th.

If you're ordering an Opus Exclusive, please check the listing for the shipping dates. 

Brexit, VAT & Taxes:

As many of you have seen, policy changes have been happening around the world regarding VAT and tax changes for purchases and shipments. These changes do not only affect international packages but also the US.

UK/INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: The UK has changed international package requirements. This means that Fae Crate will be charging VAT on packages shipped to the UK (if they apply). VAT prices are calculated by each country and depend on the item and weight of the package. Fae Crate does not calculate these charges and is not responsible for paying any country's customs department fees. If your order is not charged VAT at the time of checkout then once your order arrives in your country's customs department they may reach out to you if there are any outstanding fees. Again, these fees are calculated by each county's customs department. 

For any customer who wishes to not pay their VAT or Importing Fees then the package will be turned away at the border and not delivered. If this issue occurs and the customer still wishes to receive their order. There will be a reshipping fee and most likely a fee that Fae Crate paid to ensure the package would be released from customs and returned to us in the United States.

US ORDERS: Some states have also been changing their tax policies within the US, which started in 2021. If a company sells over a certain amount to certain states, they will be required to charge state taxes to customers. This is something that can change monthly or quarterly depending on sales to each state. Fae Crate keeps up-to-date with this process and customers may see these changes at checkout.

DHL Shipping Information:

Fae Crate offers DHL as a shipping option for our international customers for our Opus, Compendium, and Hangover Collections. Below is some information regarding DHL Shipping. 

DHL prices are calculated by DHL and are dependent on where the package is being shipped along with the weight of the package. These prices are generated by DHL at the time of checkout. Fae Crate does not calculate these shipping charges and is not responsible for paying any country's customs department fees, that may incur once the package arrives at a customer's customs department. Fae Crate does not calculate any importing charges and is not responsible for paying any country's customs department fees.

DHL will reach out to any customer who may need to pay any outstanding import fees. If the import fees are not paid by the customer then the package will be turned away at the border and not delivered. If this issue occurs and the customer still wishes to receive their order. There will be a reshipping fee and most likely a fee that Fae Crate paid to ensure the package would be released from customs and returned to us in the United States.

Where does DHL Express NOT ship to?

DHL Express does not serve the following countries: Ascension, Bovet Island, Indian Ocean Territory, French Southern Territories, Heard & Mcdonald Islands, Pitcairn, Saint Pierre &, Miquelon, Tajikistan, Tristan Da Cunha, US Minor Outlying Islands (Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingman Reef, Midway Atoll, Palmyra Atoll, Wake Island), and  Western Sahara
