REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

 

Returns

Fae Crate does not accept any returns or exchanges for its products. Therefore, it does not issue any discounts, refunds or store credit.


Cancellations

Customers are able to request a refund/cancellation within 24 hours of the time of purchase, including subscription renewals. After that time frame has passed, Fae Crate does not accept cancellation requests for purchases already made at any time. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account, however that does not cancel orders already placed, even if unfulfilled at the time of subscription cancellation.

3, 6, and 12 month box purchases during Cyber Week sales are non-refundable due to the heavy discount offered. You may skip boxes you do not wish to receive and use the box credit towards another month.


Loss and Damages

Boxes sent on a tracked service are insured by our courier, therefore, we cover up to 100% of damages, but take each case on a case by case basis. If you have tracked shipping and your box has been marked as delivered but you have not received your box, you will need to make a claim with USPS via their website. In the event that your box has not been delivered due to an incorrect address/insufficient information, we will not issue a refund. We can only ship to the information provided. If your box was not delivered for another reason, contact us and we will review your claim and make a decision from there.

If your box has arrived damaged or items are missing, you have up to 15 days to notify us and begin a claim. You will be required to provide photographic evidence. Any claims submitted after 15 days will not be entitled to a replacement or refund. We use a case by case scenario of damaged items needing to be sent back to us prior to receiving replacements (at our cost, we shall provide you with a shipping label) such as our plushies and large items included in boxes.

PLEASE NOTE: This policy does not pertain to international packages shipped via a forwarding company. Refund and replacement requests will be honored for up to 15 days after delivery to the address provided on the order. If an international package is shipped via a forwarding company, it is no longer insured by Fae Crate and the package would still need to be received within 15 days of the first delivery date to qualify for replacement or refund.

Damage Guidelines

What qualifies as damaged? 

  1. Obvious rips and tears in the pages or dust jackets.
  2. Dents in the book edges, spine, and corners over 1 cm. 
  3. Residue on the dust jacket or pages that cannot be removed. 
  4. Water damage.
  5. Obvious emboss imperfections such as flaking, scuffs, or scratches over 1 cm. 
  6. No signature when there should be. 

What does not qualify as damaged?

  1. Bends, creases, or light scratches on the pages or dust jackets. 
  2. Wavy pages.
  3. Minimal creasing on book edges, spine, or corners.
  4. Minor scratches or bleeding on sprayed edges.


PLEASE NOTE: Slipcases and boxes are not eligible for replacement as they are packaging and protection for the books and items and are not considered as a product.
